Our playground mulch is an International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) certified product made from finely shredded wood chips consisting of tight grain hardwoods. The tight grain hardwoods, such as oak, hickory, maple, locust, and birch help prevent splinters.

This playground mulch drains well and is free from soil and leaves that accelerate the decomposition process. Being an all-natural, organic mulch, there are no additives, color dyes, or chemical treatments. While the certified playground mulch serves many different purposes, it also has an attractive appearance. The shredded wood chips give the playground a clean, natural looking ground cover.
